FRAME:
A Model of Care For Artists
Overview
FRAME is a tool we created to give injured performers—and the teams supporting them—a clear, shared view of their treatment plan. It bridges discipline by helping medical practitioners, teachers, and artists speak the same language. Instead of fragmented notes or scattered goals, FRAME offers a single-page snapshot that’s easy to understand and update.
Through 100 case studies, we’ve seen how FRAME improves communication, aligns expectations, and helps performers stay engaged in their own recovery. It’s flexible, scalable, and designed to grow with the artist—whether they’re in the clinic, the studio, or back on stage. Above all, FRAME puts the performer at the center of the process.
Take a look at FRAME illustrated below for a broader perspective. Click through the phases to learn more and see what elements catch your eye or peak your interest. As an artist, you can gain insights to discuss with your practitioners, teachers and mentors. As a practitioner, FRAME may assist you in referring to a timely structure aiding in a key advantage to the healing momentum.
